Molly's Birthday Party I

Molly's Birthday Party was last Sunday. It was a great success despite the fact that I had a terrible flu leading up to the party. Many plans and ideas got sidelined and a lot of cheating occurred with store bought food. In the end it didn't matter because Molly had a great time and so did we!

I set the party in the afternoon so that Molly had a chance for a sleep before her party and I had plenty of time to do last minute preparations. I set the table up the night before so everything was ready to go. To my surprise Molly didn't touch everything on the table that morning. Phew!!

Here is a photo of the set up a  couple of hours before the party.
And below are the photos during the party.

Drinks were kept in white tubs I got from Freedom (I peeled the blue striped stickers off to get them white). I provided juice boxes, water and a few bottles of soft drink.

On the table I had a glass jar filled with ice cream lollies and marshmallows. Yum!

I used lovely bamboo cutlery from The Party Studio which I stamped with the letter m.

The Party bags were kept on the buffet next to the table.

In the next post I'll talk more in depth about the cake and food.

  1. what a beautiful party for your molly! I loved all your detail and that you all had a great time even though you weren't well in the lead up.

You've got to link it up to Frog Goose and Bear at

  2. What a gorgeous party!! Even more impressive as you were not well! Thanks for sharing! You have given me quite a few good ideas for my daughters party - she is obsessed with pink!
